Optometrically trained qualified nurses and auxiliaries assist in the running of the practice. They tend to stay longer than 10 years. TOILETS These are available on request. Duplicated hand washing facilities are provided in the clinic hygiene and handling area as befits a "bona fide" clinic. The clinic enjoys filtered air-conditioning for your comfort. We are regularly told of prominent practices in which no provision for hand washing exists. AFTER

Seasonally, sessions may close at 2pm on Saturdays. HOURS The Clinic Opens 9.00am to
5.00pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 9.00am 2.00 or 4.00pm seasonally.

PARKING Metered On Street parking. Central for the rail station and Interchange, approx a 5 minute walk. Park & Ride Services 700 & 701 available from Walton Street (700) and Hessle, Priory Park (701) They run every 10 minutes and drop off in Carr Lane near the Paragon Arcade for the Clinic and various stops round the city centre. PAYMENTS Visa & Mastercard
are welcome for purchases. We prefer monthly payment plans via Standing
Orders. These can ONLY be changed by YOU. (Direct debits are less popular
with us personally.)
EMERGENCY SPEX REPAIRS Most screws for sides or lenses replaced on-site. Complete Spectacle prices from £25 but for contracted contact lens wearers - half what you might pay generally for prescriptions within the range +/- 6.0 dioptres. Here is some of the vast stock of contact lenses available for instant fitting and changes of prescription that surprises many Manufacturers' representatives.
